Shortest Thread Ever

Fix It Man

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to The Blue Elephant again
.

We can make this thread true if we delete our posts, like gonna do in a while. . . . .

I wonder, can the OP delete his post and still have the thread at the top of the board? All that would take is some mods with some commitment to humor. . . . .

Perhaps the thread will get so big, it'll eventually collapse into a singularity, thus fulfilling its premise.

Hey, didn't TBE post something about singularities not long ago?

I don't think I even know what a singularity is.

/thread breaker

Mathematically, it's a point in an equation with no solution or an infinity of solutions.

If someone started a chain letter saying you we're going to give away some money to each participant, and guarantee who brought in twenty downstream participants, say with an entry fee, and the payoff was ten times that fee, you might crash this forum and your thread would blow up or get deleted by admin.

I don't see a problem here Gattsu.

This thread can still be the thread that people talk about the idea of the shortest thread ever or an existing and spotted shortest thread ever. Or the thread title might be changed to the shortest original post ever.

if you ask me, a mod with a true commitment to humor would use her powers to make this thread longer than the longest thread ever...

Merge all the GD (and, no that's NOT circumventing the profanity filters) thread into this one.
I like how you think!

LOL. I guess I shouldn't just assume that people will know what the hell I'm talking about.

A singularity is a point with no mathematically defined solution. In real analysis, singularities are the same as discontinuities on a curve. A black hole is an example of a singularity, which is what I was referring to when I said you posted about it recently.
