Disagree. A lot of it was indecision. It started with them feeding DeAndre so the Jazz hung back on pnr to dissuade the lob. That opened up some driving lanes. The Jazz will look at the tape and improve. The Clippers adjusted to the jazz defensive scheme with Favors after game 1 and exploited it in the 1st quarter, after that we improved and won the other 3 quarters. Sad how people are overreacting rn.

I know one thing for sure: if we play the same bigs and get repeat performances from them, there's virtually zero chance we leave SLC with home-court advantage. Playing Bolomboy would be an experiment, but he has 6 good fouls and can shoot the 3 (theoretically). So, yeah, I support throwing him into the fire and seeing what happens. Short leash, obvi.

I'd want to test two big lineup more. See if that size can do anything and put Favors in weakside help position roles instead of paint protection. It might lure Griffin into shooting more midrange shots, which could be a win for Utah.

That's probably true on the defensive end but then you profoundly retard the offense. If we are being perfectly honest the offensive end was the bigger problem(99-91). We can't really afford to make it worse. We need to make the O better.

Favors was solid, but clearly he was done for game 2. Withey is trash.

Clearly he was done? You are vastly over stating this. Jordan made a ton of plays against Favors only when Favors had to guard Jordan and Paul. Even Gobert could have struggled with that. The Clippers came with a good plan that worked for 1 quarter, the Jazz adjusted but just couldn't make up the difference. I expect them to come with a better plan in game 3.

I hate agreeing with Cy, but he is right.

We stole a game in LA without Rudy and now we panic? If Hayward had gone to the line when he was fouled on the three, the Clips may have panicked and we'd stolen 2 in LA. Time for adjustments, not panic. But, I'm also not dismissing the idea of a very limited role for Bolomboy in a hacking strategy after the Clips are in the penalty.

That would be the only possible use for Bolomboy at this point. Wnat to play hack a Jordan he's your man. Actually having him out there to attempt to play in any other situations is pretty far fetched.

Do those teams have a player anywhere in the realm of Jordan? He's completely different than anybody on either roster. Also didn't he exclusively play PF in those games? Withey or Gobert were on the floor with him, I believe.

No one has called him 100% or said he has complete explosiveness/lift. It's better than it's been all season though. The biggest issue is him playing out of position against a player who outmatches him in size and athleticism w/ a PG who can exploit any error in defensive positioning.

He certainly showed some explosive/quick dives to the rim that allowed him to complete 3 and 1's against a very good defensive center.

Also playing a factor is he's just not in basketball shape. Hasn't played enough in enough games yet to be completely in shape. But over all I completely agree with you in this thread.
