Tank it, get rid of AK, Miles, Price, Doufos and if possible Okur. 20 mil of cap space, a couple of first round picks and a lottery pick for next year would be absolutely killer to give this team the much required overhaul. DWill and Mansap are more then good enough to start with, just add the right peaces and a year later we should be good enough to go from where we left last season.

Welcome back, Freak.

Thanks man. It took me a while, but I finally came up with a virus strong enough to take down Jazzfans, thus erasing the information that kept me out. I wasn't sure it would work, but here I am.

I don't know what all of the fuss is over, Haward, Sap, and Deron are a good enough "Big 3" to lead us to the championship next season! You guys are blind if you can't see that....

I agree with Nate. Not only that, but I heard a rumor that Deron wants to play in Miami. Let's trade him now before we end up like Cleveland. Preferably for a large expiring and maybe a 2nd rounder. All we have to do is suck for several years, dump all our talent for cap space, and keep all our draft picks on the bench until we're ready to make a run for the title. Sure, we may have to overpay a little to get some decent free agents to come here, but hey, at least it won't be Rudy Gay or Joe Johnson. Anyone have a list of free agents available in 2015?

Utah Jazz 2016 champs. We just have to keep our eye on the prize.

A simple "No, keep playing scrappy jazz basketball" would have sufficed.

Damn right they should tank...In fact, why should any of those guys take any sort of risk. They should all just lie down and not really play at all. Sure, they gotta be on the court but why bother running up and down it. They should just like lay down and let the other team do anything...

LOL, maybe that was the message Koufos was trying to convey with his little dance? BOOM BITCHES!

oh and welcome back Freak. I'm still pissed about the loss of my Halloween thread, but I guess I can't blame that on you.

Even after The Statues retired, Sloan coached a bunch of garbage to a .500 record. Tanking is impossible for this franchise. The draft is a crapshoot anyway, so losing and hoping to get lucky for multiple years is just bad business.

Lets:
1) create a loser's mentality (see LBJ "LoserBenedictJames", quite playing because the team blows)
2) get maybe the #3 pick (see NJ)
3) have DWill pissed cause our current team blows, where he demands a trade or opts out....

Those who wish to tank, deserve a shtty team. RETARDS!!!

I'm a loser and have never gotten lucky, so I agree with that.

I was ok with Boozer and Korver leaving. This Matthews contract has me down, I admit. I thought Wesley was going to be a good player for us for a long time. Now, I just don't see how the Jazz match. It's a Catch-22, really. Don't match and Deron is even more pi$$ed off. Match and there goes the entire MLE. No way to sign anyone else except for the vet minimum. And Deron will be pi$$ed we haven't done anything else to improve the team. Portland really screwed us, that's for sure.

I say don't match and we just tank the season. Jazz won't be horrible, but I don't see them making the playoffs. Make a good trade at the deadline for AK's expiring, resulting in a late run for the playoffs, just missing and getting a pick in the 12-14 range.
