Because he did everything he could to stay out.He was never famous. Barely recognizable outside Utah and in Utah people left him alone.

I mean you still havent even detailed what "mentorship" entails.Amazing how we think the “All time Assist leader” in the history of the NBA has nothing to offer little ol’ Isiah Collier…
I’m simply amazed.

None of his boys should have been prospects, on physical talent, but they were, presumably because they had him around to tutor them. I'd be interested to see what a few weeks tutoring could do for Collier. His youngest son is on the Eastern Washington roster and he was in Ogden last week watching him play against Weber. His youngest son isn't a NBA prospect.
Two of his kids are still playing professionally. Stock looked more like a jockey than an NBA player.None of his boys should have been prospects, on physical talent, but they were, presumably because they had him around to tutor them. Key he would probably mentally wound permanently due to his attitude issues.
Yep, both were marginal NBA players (kinda surprised Michael didn't get anything more than a summer league in the NBA,) but solid pros in lesser leagues. Two of his kids are still playing professionally. Stock looked more like a jockey than an NBA player.
They werent marginal in the slightest. Neither had a chance at the NBA.Yep, both were marginal NBA players (kinda surprised Michael didn't get anything more than a summer league in the NBA,) but solid pros in lesser leagues.
And to reply a second time, it's funny watching videos of his peers as they recollect going against him, being surprised at how tall/strong/fast he was. He definitely gave off a jockey vibe while really being a stone cold assassin on the court with unmatched vision/proprioception and large hands to get the ball the do whatever he wanted. Two of his kids are still playing professionally.
