He punted 24 times? Why the hell do we want that? And what? I guess he got 5 rebates but, what the ****?
That was 9 more punts than Rudy.He punted 24 times? Why the hell do we want that? And what? I guess he got 5 rebates but, what the ****?
He has a tendency to play with his food too much. Hopefully a bigger role will bring out his best. It's not the shooting for me, it is more likely to come than not with time. Especially if they are catch and shoot opportunities.
My biggest worry is the lack of seperation. I thought that overdribbling was a simple fixable issue that needed to be outgrown. Now, I think he is busting out moves for 6-7 seconds just to create an advantage because he can't break down defenses consistently. It really hampers his potential and limits him to be a secondary ball-handler off the bench and that's not very alluring.
These are among the players in the same age cohort as Fontecchio (according to Basketball Reference). Should they also be regarded as young and promising (rather than simply good or bad), and an age-appropriate piece of our rebuild (if available)?:He's still relatively young and promising, so there's no reason that he can't be a piece of the rebuild.
Yeah, let's bring back Trey Lyles. A fan favorite. These are among the players in the same age cohort as Fontecchio (according to Basketball Reference). Should they also be regarded as young and promising (rather than simply good or bad), and an age-appropriate piece of our rebuild (if available)?:
Seems to me these guys (and probably Fontecchio) fit a lot better age-wise if the idea is to retool around Donovan.
- Trey Lyles
- Jabari Parker
- Dante Exum
- Monte Morris
- Aaron Gordon
- Zach Lavine
- KAT
- Jokic
- Wiggins
- Kuzma
- Poetl
- Porzingis
- Josh Hart

- Juancho
According to you, the Jazz had 0 small forwards at the time of his signing. Is that not reason enough to sign him? These are among the players in the same age cohort as Fontecchio (according to Basketball Reference).
