Uh, there are more Android devices out there than IOS devices. You may not have known about it, but plenty of others did. Android has had a bigger market share than IOS for quite a while.
Android was available on every carrier. Apple WAS available on only one (though that is changing). Android has many, many, many models, from cheap to expensive. Apple has 4, 5? At one point a couple of years ago, Apple had 28%, Android was 35%. That is pathetic for Android, considering at the time, Apple was only available on AT&T. Finally, Apple charges hundreds of dollars for their phone. 50% of Android phones are given away for free (that is probably an exaggeration, but not by much, seeing how every Android is available as a buy one, get one free.
Android might have a great phone, but they have to give their away. Apple may have an inferior phone, but they have people lining up out the door to pay hundreds of dollars for them. My point still stands. Until Android can effectively market their phone, they have no business whining about how they did it first.
