I've always been lukewarm on Iguodala. I'd prefer the Jazz go with young, cheap, and have the ability or the potential to develop a requisite skillset (in Iggy's case, shooting the ****ing ball) than go with an albatross deal for a guy that can cause you Rondo-esque floor-spacing concerns.
If Iggy could shoot, he might be a superstar. The guy is a prolific player, but shooting is one of the pillars of the game, especially for a perimeter player. I love that he can find space off the ball yet handle it and get his teammates shots. I love that he rebounds. I love that he's been their defensive workhorse at the same time and you can probably switch him onto almost anyone on the court. But the shooting thing... it's hard for me. At least at that price tag.
