Sluggish load times?

When quoting a post the quote takes so much time to load that my response often starts getting posted above the quote and then once the quote loads in the response gets split and the remainder is posted under the quote.

My above post took 8 seconds after hitting the "post reply" button to get posted.

Clicking on this thread took 6 full seconds to load the thread, the ads then loaded tying up another 2-3 seconds before I could post.


Well, you know, Mississippi's. 6 full Mississippi's, then 2-3 more Mississippi's.

Still having issues with this. Also it kind of locks up and kicks me out of editing while it loads ads like this...

It's getting worse. Now that ad at the bottom about half the time doesn't go away. And sometimes it is joined by one just as big at the top of the page.

Asked them to remove the footer ad on mobile if they can’t isolate it.

Ad company says they've hopefully isolated the larger square ad from appearing on mobile on the bottom. If you get others, screen cap it and include the URL in an update to this thread. Thanks for reporting it. You should have only 1-2 rectangle-shaped ads on the bottom of the mobile page.
