I would say he has learned to play defense from Raja. I didn't watch him in college, but I'm pretty he never applied on-ball pressure like that. Once again, I only want Bell to be play around 15 mpg, not calling for Burks to get DNP's.

Guys you didnt learn no tto listen to CY at all about BB after last night? Amazing

i think about 12 mpg seems fair for bell. any more than that and i think he loses his legs a bit, unless hes amped up and put on the spot to guard a kobe type player. personally i think he is far more valuable on the bench teaching (minus his feuding with coaches) than on the floor for his patented flopping, 4 shots a game, and little else.

he seems to be a smart guy, and teaching the youth in practice seems like it would be much easier and more effective than trying to teach them by in game example at this point in his career.

Well that was a poor choice of words to start with. I should have said "Raja plays his role well, the role as a 5th option SG", but it's just easier to say "Good SG" in the chat box.

I think you truly believe he is a good SG. You clearly said he was a good player multiple times.

And the arguments for the 5 players have been presented, you just wont accept them

1. Daquan Cook- He is only starting b/c Thabo is hurt and Harden is really the starting SG. With Cook starting, he is still getting only around 13 minutes a game
2. Marco Belinelli- Averages 11 points, 36% from 3 but attempts 4.2 three's a game. He can actually create his own shot too
3. Carlos Delfino- He is a SF. He is a lot more athletic, doubles Raja's averages in rebounds, assists and steals. He can also create offense as well, unlike Raja. Also, averages 36% from 3 but attempts 4.6 a game
4. Anthony Parker- I think these players are even, both are pretty bad. This is the only legit case you brought up
5. Wes Johnson- He is still very very young and is superiorly athletic. He sucks but would still take his potential and ability to outbreak any moment over Raja whose only impact on a game will be when he takes 1-2 three's a game

Raja Bell has had 10 double digit scoring games, Wes Johnson has had 7. Johnson has only missd one game all season, Bell has missed 10. They average within nearly the same MPG. Wes Johnson breakout potential is so much higher. He is just ripping at the seams with ability.

Daquan Cook is a starter. The point of this was to find 5 worse starters. He is a starter, get over it.

Delfino is the only person I listed that may be better than Bell.

Who wouldn't Raja straight up for any of these guys?

That's true. When they do improve, it's normally due to having been in a very poor system and getting into a better one for their skillset. Rarely is it because the light just suddenly comes on.
