I have training from Sankt-Peterburgskiy. It is basically worthless degrees because convoluted USA requirements tell me as such. Education system is broke here. You are wrong. There is no connection between vaccination and autism rates (we have done studies on populations that do not vaccinate which demonstrate this). Nor is there anything about being a sports trainer that makes you an expert in epidemiology.

I know there are groups that believe this to be true, or at least vaccines may be one trigger. (The National Autism Association is one of them). However, I do not believe the data is there to back it up. While I don't think this is the most outlandish claim, there is not enough data to rely on it.

There are too many other factors (sadly we just don't know enough) such as environment, genetics, toxins, etc. I previously read a study that parents who are obese or diabetic have a higher risk of having children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) such as Autism or Aspergers. I think there is a high likelihood that there are many posters on this board who have kids with PDD, and throwing around these comments that you probably think are funny are simply not.

So while I don't completely disagree (the research is just not there from what I have seen), statistically, kids are better off getting vaccines as the unproven risks of vaccines are overshadowed by the HUGE benefit of getting vaccines.

The CDC has gone studies (simple google search for vaccines and lives saved) to show the number of lives and dollars saved by not having to fight diseases such as chickenpox, HPV, measles, pertussis, rubella, and now possible Ebola, (the most recent outbreak has killed close to 1,000 people).

I am not wrong you are wrong. We did not have these diseases before vaccines. The more vaccine we make the more common is development disease. We find new disease every day. Even Alzheimer's and adult neurological disease are rising off the charts.

The only thing we created was the name or label. Prior to the "autism" diagnosis, people were often referred to as holy, or gifted, or strange, or stupid, or brilliant, or crazy. It is not the diseases rising, it is the diagnosis. Alzheimer's is also increasing at similar rates in countries that do not vaccinate. Another cause is we are living longer which has a corresponding increase of people getting the disease in old age.
