Well there is that certain religion, very popular in Utah and surrounding areas, whose members seem to think having a dozen kids and overcrowding our schools is a good way to ensure your passage to the afterlife.
But this isn't about religion! Of course not! This is about the sanctity of marriage! And SCIENCE!
I really don't care much for this discussion, however, being a member of this religion I'm not sure where you're getting your information from. Whether you're unable to have kids or have 100 kids, this doesn't effect your salvation at all.
If you find members of this religion having
too many offspring, then one should probably look at the sexual habits of the couple rather than blame it on some made up doctrine.
Unfortunately, too many members make up their own crap and too many observers believe it as doctrine. Examples: Mormons can't drink coke, Mormons can't watch tv on Sundays, Mormons have too many kids because it's a commandment.
And by the way, I'm repulsed at the amount of tax cuts married families with millions of kids get here in Utah. If you're going to have kids then you should pay for them. It's a part of using your "free agency" and taking on the accountability of your choices. If you choose to have sexual intercourse with your spouse without using birth control, then don't expect me to pay for the results of your consequences.
It's hilarious how so many Utahns hypocritically oppose Obamacare saying that it's "unconstitutional" that they be forced to pay for services of someone else. Yet, I'm paying out of my *** in taxes to help subsidize families who refuse to use birth control.
