I wanted to post this a month ago but figured everyone would be upset about disrupting chemistry and giving Al away.

Jefferson for Kaman
Harris for Hinrich

Then we can be freed up to actually use the Memo TPE, in addition to saving the franchise millions without losing much in terms of the W/L column.

Then, if possible, trade Miles, Howard and/or Bell to anyone who will give us any kind of asset or quasi asset.

Jefferson for Kaman really isn't going to do much IMO. Harris for Hinrich obviously helps the team if he's healthy.

I like them both players because they are expiring, not because they can help us on the court. I would be all for trading Harris for an expiring deal, but I think we can get a much better player/package than Chris Kaman centered around Big Al.

No thanks to either. I would love to have prime-era Hinrich, but he appears to be just as washed up as Harris is.

That he may be but two huge differences:

1. He can shoot from the outside
2. His contract is expiring

Which would naturally lead to 3. He'd fit better on our offense. And he's a decent defender.

Don't trade Big Al for another big, we have 3 good ones still if he leaves. We need a PG and/or a wing who can score and shoot.

Geico man has a one year, $14 million deal and Jefferson is owed $15,000,000 next year.
Hinrich is on a one year, $8.1 million deal and Harris is owed $8,500,000 next year.
That's $23,500,000 for a net negative (Harris) and another guy who will be replaced by Kanter, Sap, and Favors by season's end.
The question isn't if Jazz should or not but what they would have to add to make it fair on the other teams.

Yea, Jazz would love those trade simply because of the financial savings. I would do both and I would throw in CJ too.
