Will the Utah Jazz soon be Gordon Hayward's Team?

I love how many posters were a very short time ago wanting to bench him or not play him at the 3 because he could not play that position. This despite someone named Alec Burks who will hopefully be our 2 of the future. I think he is playing pretty well now.

1 Game people's... 1 Game....

I HOPE the only way this is 'HIS' team in the future is if Favors/Kanter become dominating AllStar Big Men and just don't have the voice ala Stockton..

I voted "no".............................................because my answer is no to the question you asked. In closing, no.

If this becomes Hayward's team we are in real trouble. Don't get me wrong he can be a very good, borderline all-star player. But you need to have a team built around more than just one SF that is unlikely to ever be "great".

How many neg reps has that little comment cost you? I once mistakenly compared Hayward to Ronnie Brewer, but thanks to the correction of my Jazzfanz brothers my eyes are now opened and I will never again blaspheme Gordon's name by claiming he will only be 'very good'.

Out of the four young guys Hayward probably has the lowest ceiling, but he has the greatest chance of reaching his ceiling and the quickest to reach it.

Lets see him put a string of games like the one last night together first. Then we can start talking about maybe being an allstar then about this being his team.

Baby steps.

...if his outside shooting doesn't improve dramatically, this will NEVER be his team. In fact, he'll be out of the league before he signs his next contract!

Wasn't he the leader of the Butler team? He's got better leadership potential than Williams...hahah
