This is what he's talking about...

You bend that barb down so that it doesn't poke out, making it easier to remove the hook once you bring the fish in.

So now it's more like this...

Bent looks a hell of a lot more like broke to me.

Is this not a blind threat to the circumcised on the board?

Wtf? I type giving pleasure of a barb is something the uncircumcised will not understand. How does this algo change my post? Site going crazy like white girls on spring break.

As a habitual speeder I don't think there's anything morally wrong with speeding. I don't have a problem with other people who speed faster than I do. I don't think it's really a big deal. When I get caught I pay my ticket and carry on with life, above the posted speed limit.

But I guess there are folks out there who really hate speeders. That's weird to me so I decided to post a poll to see how many people dislike speeders.

Without defining what you consider speeding it's hard to answer your question.

Traveling faster than the posted speed limit.

I have defined it a little, but to further clarify...

I'm not talking about street racing.

I'm not talking about hot rodding through a residential neighborhood.

I'm not talking about speeding through a school zone.

I'm not talking about aggressive driving such as weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating, etc.

I am talking about being on a multi lane road and when it's open going faster than the posted speed.

I have no real problem with someone speeding as long as they have not become dangerous. When they are going so fast that their control starts slipping or they are forcing other drivers to take increasingly defensive driving actions then I have a problem.

I usually call highway patrol when people become dangerous (did it to a pair of biker gang members last year) otherwise I mind my own business.

Thanks for the response.

I have absolutely no problems with your or anyone else's speeding. In fact, I welcome it. Also, I appreciate your lack of whine when your issued a citation for said speeding.

With this I have no problem.

True story: I speed all the time and have not had to pay a speeding ticket in years.

Every time I have been pulled over the cop gives me a warning and specifically points out that I have a custom PBS-branded license plate. I'm not sure why this apparently matters to cops, but it has gotten me out of at least $500 in fines over the last three years.

What's a PBS-branded licence plate and how do I get one?

Public Broadcasting Service?
