Locke talked about this a bit today. Said Quin and the training staff really like him. Had a great training camp and Quin singled him out and said he could be a really good player. Signed with Stars, but Jazz didn't have his rights. Put up really good stats (16/8/2 in only 26 min on 72/43/83 splits) and Jazz were afraid someone else would sign him. Jazz also really liked his 1.8 steals and 1.6 blocks per game in 26 min. 22 years old vs Stanton Kidd 27 years old.

Because he made $250k, he’s not able to sign with the Jazz’s affiliate.

The Manbun dude was a grad transfer last year and prior to that one season he averaged 13 rebounds a game in Southern Conference play.

Can Morgan play backup center?

We really don't want a 6'8 guy to go from a G League forward directly to backup Center behind Rudy Gobert. Let's work him in a little before we take him off the shelf.
