Good lord no. Al had a bad game. Al is far better than Fes. But if you want a practical reason, Al can get Howard in foul trouble. In fact, when Al really finds his stride in our offense he's going to put immense pressure on star bigs of our opponents. He can do that naturally when he's ISO'd in the post, but he'll be twice as deadly when he actually starts getting the easy buckets Deron sets him up with.
There were like 3 times in the first quarter when Deron set Al up and he just wasn't ready for the ball. The two I remember were a botched catch down low and an up top P&R where Al rushed a push shot. A Locked In Al sinks both of those with likely And One's. He's going to be deadly. He's just a step slow at the moment. But Fes should definitely back up Al, not Elson.
