SO what is the perception of who makes up the internet gang?

2) What does this gang do? Some advantage? Do they 'gang' up on others as some kind of 'gang' or something?

3) Is there some perception that this gang reps each other all day?

Where is all the butt-hurt coming from?


A couple posters have manned up (franklin being one) and said something along the lines of it just being frustrating that a new faction of posters with their own inside jokes have replaced what was more familiar (more inclusive) in the past.

Serious question. Other than UGLI, obvi, are any of the rest of us really that bad for the board?

In Taylorsville. . . . by the Iceberg across from T-ville high last Wednesday, I saw a beggar with his cardboard sign. Mind you, I'd just seen two over by the Redwood off-ramps with signs. One said : Homeless Vet. Need hospital. No insurance. The other said Cripple, Blind, Can't Walk. Need $5.

But the Iceberg man's sign said

"Alien. Space Ship broke. Need $5"

I don't know which one was EJ.

I'll give you my take on it.
In all seriousness, I can hardly stand this site anymore. There's hardly any thread that doesn't get completely and totally derailed whenever one of the "STG (that's really a stupid name for it, but it's what everybody recognizes)" comes into it. NOTHING will turn a thread into complete and utter garbage faster than getting any two of them into a thread. It quickly turns into nothing but inside jokes and references about what you guys did over the last few weeks. And it's only getting worse.
No, I don't think you sit around rep each other all day. But I presume that if you look at the reps of the members of this group, the percentage of reps to and from other members of it is greater than those to and from others.
Nor do I think you "gang up on others".
The only one that I have met in real life is UGLI, whom I like as a person, but his posting habits are down right annoying and sophomore-ish.
