I am not.Are you married and if so, has your wife remained employed?
Soooo. Just noticed our 2018 taxes are linked to a bank account we have since closed. Haven't done our 2019 taxes yet to update our banking info. Will be interesting / sucky to see how this plays out.
It depends on what the purpose of the checks are. If you want to use them as a social security, then send it to the lowest of income individuals. If you want to try and kick start the economy then sending it to everyone is more useful (wealthier are more likely to use the $ for things like appliances, entertainment, cars, etc.). This last round of checks were mostly of the social security type, but the next round (when we are trying to recover the economy) may be more generally distributed. Because it is an election year, I expect we are more likely to have a second round of checks than in most other years.Wanted to get people's thoughts on future stimulus checks, if they occur. Should future stimulus checks cast a wide net, or be more targeted to try and assist those most impacted by the pandemic? Should those who are still able to work from home, or living on social security or disability still get a check, if they have seen no change in their income?

Ehh, it's called a stimulus check, not a save it check. If you are well off the best thing you can do is spend the money.IDK, in theory anyone that is still employed shouldn't get it. But that can change in a split second so I think everyone should get it, they should be smart and save it for when they need it. That would never happen though.

Our plan is to save it until things pass and than put it back into the economy through local businesses.
Well I mean more like well off as in you have plenty of savings and good job security. That's fair. I'm saving mine just in case things go south in the workforce over the next few weeks. Fingers crossed but if everything works out and I come through on the other side I'll use the funds to start a kitchen remodel for my wife. If not I guess it will pay the mortgage once and a utility or 2.

I live on the west coast, i wish my mortgage payment was ~$1400 lolYep, we received $2900 and that'll pay two of my mortgage payments. I'm not spending it until I'm for sure not going to get laid off.
