I think using Atheism as a pretext for public policy sounds like a crusade. I don't like when Christians do it either.

I want people to have a choice. Since children aren't able to make that choice how about we not force it upon them until they are mature enough to do it?
You guys are against prearranged marriage I assume, right? The one where parents chose wifes and husbands for children and they have no right to change it when they grow up. Why different approach to religion?

Not if it exposes your kids to prayer.

Prearanged marriage. Is fine if the parties to be married consent. Also I would not be upset at my kids seeing it or being exposed to it. Exposure does not mean actively participating.

Well, I strongly disagree with it. Exposure could have very negative results. There is a reason why some movies are rated by age. Same with alcohol, drugs, driving, smoking, etc. Would you be ok if you kids are exposed to sex, drugs and violence since young age? They are not participating just observing it huh?

I think some people spend too much time explaining away their religious beliefs. There has to be room for faith or what is the point?
