Summer 2015: FIBA games of Utah Jazz players

Did Rudy look any better in any certain way? Like did he have some move on offense he seemed to be trying? Did he look like he gained any weight or lower body strength? Anything?

Just tuned in to watch Team World vs Team Africa.

What the hell is this thing? You got old *** Mutombo and Olajuwon playing against Trey Burke, Chris Paul, Faried, Evan Turner, Pau Gasol, ...

No one is trying. Looks really lame. Trey Burke doing some really dumb stuff.

It's your turn to make your pick.

yea it's purely exhibition match, almost everyone was doing something dumb

trey ended with 12 pts and 7 assists, had some nice drive to the basket and kickouts, but i am not sure of his fg% and turnover numbers

but his freethrow (if he was really trying) looks terrible though

It's disappointing to see him shoot so poorly from the FT line.

From what I've read, shooting has been one of his focuses in the off-season, going to train with Dirk's shooting coach. He shouldn't be going 2/9 from the FT line.

Actually kind of surprised to see the NBA players play. Most of them are not required to report to their national teams until yesterday. How did former Jazzman Erik Murphy play? Utah Utes fans ought to be hoping for a Finn, Lauri Markkanen who is playing in the U18 tournament and playing great to pick them. He is also considering Arizona and North Carolina.

Offensively sadly no. Everytime he got the ball away from paint he coundnt get rid of it fast enough to a teammate. Granted he was playing unselfish team ball, but he didnt
attempt anything away from the rim. His scores around the rim were the typical alley hoop catches. Although they were great, there was nothing new I saw.

He did look more confident, if possible, and more of a leader. He controlled the paint in the 2nd half, and really gobbled up the boards. Only real negative was the free throw shooting.

10 pts, 11 reb, 1 blk in 18 min for Rudy.

So 20/22/2 per 36. Now if he just becomes a shot-blocker he could be something special in the league!

I'm really not worried about his shooting. Sure I'd like him to improve - and he does need to hit more FT's. But I'd rather have him parked around the rim cleaning up the glass than trying to hit mid-range jumpers.

Where is Stiches at with the deets for tomorrow's game?

No deets yet, the game is at 11:30am PST/12:30 pm MDT... that's all I know for now. Hopefully streams will appear tomorrow.

It is disappointing but Gobert has already proven he is better than that from the line. His FT% last year was 62%.

Perhaps this was simply just a bad night for Gobert.
