Summer 2015: FIBA games of Utah Jazz players

Europe will never be better than America at basketball, ever.

Fortunately the Jazz coaching staff sees the worth in learning from European basketball, unlike yourself, enhancing the ceiling of our team in the process.

Never said we couldn't learn from them. You can suck at the majority of something and still be good at a small part that is worth learning from.

Maybe, but this

is a lame attempt.

And this,

also sucks as a comment, I take it you're drinking liqueur ?

How can a fan of a team that had Tyrone Corbin as HC and also got his nick from him say that?

Cy is just trolling. The top 3 NBA offenses in the last ten years all have their strong European-inspirations in common. No point in trying to defend European basketball when San Antonio seems to be a big fan of it. It's a finished argument. European basketball changed the NBA for the better, and the entire league will be forever thankful.

small part? Majority? European-offense isn't a 'small part' of European basketball. You're speaking in extremes and generalizations, and fulfilling the stereotypes of Americans being close-minded knobs with IQs of cashews.

Best thing bout Gobert is that Snyder coaches him, not some bum French coach.

and Snyder was a bum-*** coach who couldnt even hold onto a college coaching job until he went to Russia and honed his craft under a legend.

Major parts? Spare me.

No team is out there running a full European offense. They use small parts and make them better with better coaching.

Also love the German coach who doesn't know Pleiss has unreal shooting mechanics and won't let him take jump shots. Dude must be a bball innovator.

I agree with Cy. You think that French coach did a good job? First his team is coasting in the first half with a double digit lead and then he takes out Rudy, followed by the rest of the starters, and before you know it, Finland catches up. Then the same thing happens in the second half. Then to make matters worse, because the offense is stagnating -- is it Rudy's fault that he's setting picks and the guys with the ball are not moving it? No, he blames Rudy, takes him out and the Fins start making layups and the double digit lead evaporates. Here he has the best rim protector in the world -- that's what the commentators are saying, and he takes him out of the game. You call that good coaching or just stupidity -- brain dead coaching is what I call it.

And the Finnish coach who took out his leading scorer, who was big plays on both ends, in crunch time. Genius move. Basketball innovation. I hope Snyder pulls Burks out of close games if he is playing well. #BasketballInnovation
