Summer 2015: FIBA games of Utah Jazz players

To the games tomorrow.

Germany vs Serbia 7MT Germany better hope Serbia lets its guard down after the big win against Spain. Benzing is out apparently.
Bosnia vs France 1MT This one should be an easy one for France. Bosnia missing their best players. Teletovic, Nurkic, and Djedovic.

Games of note:

Greece vs Croatia 1MT Looks like Bogdaovic will probably be out for Croatia. He really smashed his head on the floor in a nast fall vs Slovenia. I think i like the Greeks in this one.
Turkey vs Spain 1MT Could Spain actually lose two in a row. Erden was dominate vs Italy.
A few other games should be really competitive as well. Obviously for all the teams that lost today tomorrow is very big.

Because rings means you are a better coach. Erik Spolstra better than Jerry Sloan,,

When you have the consensus of an entire continent thinking you're better, and you're winning 8x the chips, and you have Greg Popovich admitting to stealing plays from you, chances are that you're a better coach than David Blatt.

What "era" are you talking about, that Blatt was the best of? The 90s to the 2010s? The year of 2014?

very curious to hear the answer of this. What is the era of David Blatt? Because he has been a wholly unremarkable coach from 1993-2013 if compared to the greats of that era.

The only reason people know who he is, is because he is one of few American coaches who had moderate success in the Euros. That is quite literally it. Americans overrate how good he is, just because he's American. Typical.

First, I admit I don't know much about Euro ball because I haven't watched that much. But I did see a fair number of games when AK played and Blatt was the coach, and I think Blatt did an excellent job of managing the game and his players -- better than he did with the Cavs. I think the overbearing personality of LeBron worked to his detriment. I really think it was LeBron's fault and that the Cavs would've been better if LeBron didn't try to run the show like he did. I'm surprised Blatt is coming back to coach them.

Also love the German coach who doesn't know Pleiss has unreal shooting mechanics and won't let him take jump shots. Dude must be a bball innovator.

Pleiß had greenlight to attempt open jumpers in the prep games. He converted them at a good rate, why wouldn't he have the greenlight any longer?
If you actually watched the game, you'd have seen what the refs decided to whistle that night. That **** affects your game. You gotta play around it and coach tried to coach around it when Tibor didn't find a way to contribute that night.

Lol. He could have played more, or he should have been given a shorter rest.

I guess riding the hot hand is below complex European strategies.

Because you know about all the circumstances. European Basketball is just not as big as the NBA, thus players don't tweet from the bench that they have #cramps in crunchtime of the finals.

Didn't see those pages, was trying to get the game back on ESPN3, but it never happened. I don't have a strong opinion about the Euro coaches, but the Turkish coach last year was horrible too. Blatt was good but he's an American.

Turkish basketball is more politics than basketball. That's a very special case. Entertaining though.

@Cy
The German "moron" coach, who's an American in fact will be assistant to Mike Malone starting this fall. The Mike Malone who's generally viewed as a good NBA coach after taming Boogie and starting hot with the Kings until getting thrown out the window.
If he trusts our national coach, I think you should maybe start watching the games and learn about the players and their qualities before you judge.

Interesting 1st half:
Tibor started really strong, finishing without "trick shots", drawing fouls.
Collected his 2nd foul early though, then didn't come back when Voigtmann was helping the team, but collected 4 fouls in the process.
So more Tibor in the 2nd half. Germany finished the first half going small with Dirk playing inside, as he caught fire in the 2nd quarter.

Really solid take to the rim by Paul Zipser a few minutes back, a double-clutch finish thru contact. He always produces at least one highlight whenever I watch him. He might be the only auto-eligible(born '94) international player worth drafting in the 2nd round.

Something that Pleiss is definetly good at is taking advantage of a shorter defender on the low block, he will get a very high % look. Great drop-step just now, covers a ton of ground with that move.

Pleiss looking good. Top scorer for the game (15 pts/100% fg) with 2:30 left.
It will be a shocker if serbia lose this game.
