No, Gobert would have been drafted regardless. Lindsey was in love with him. We have Hayward and Burks and still drafted Hood. We have Favors and Booker and still drafted Lyles.
Could have gotten a LOT more out of trade for JV than what we got for that pile of crap named EK.

Just meant you had done a pretty decent job of picking the groups. Few probably would have predicted Lithuania over Italy.
I swear he does some things I haven't seen since David Robinson. His quickness and even hops are underrated. He plays with such intensity and focus. Really, the sky's the limit for this guy. He's starting to realize how good he can be.

So in love with him he blew both picks to move up for Burke, essentially passing on any realistic chance to get Gobert. The Jazz lucked into Gobert, nothing more, nothing less.
