I've already had ants start coming through the base molding of my apartment, going especially at my cats food dish. If any of you are having this problem, here's a cheap solution... Go out and buy a cheap, strong holding hair gel (preferably "Got2Be" it smells good and looks good.) Clean up your the floor and molding where you're gonna be applying it, and like you would with a caulking gun, just squeeze it between the floor and the molding and with your finger, spread it (like caulk.) Cheap and easy solution. I'll post a pic in a second... Looks pretty good imo.
