especially the former. it's not an exact science - one guy i'll never forget i missed on that put up elite production at a young age over seasons was ante zizic - but he's the exception. if really young guys produce against top level euro competition, bet on them. that's why nba GMs were a bunch of dumbasses for letting leonard miller fall so far.

he will be good. having said that one caveat that elizah mentioned and i agree with was that he qualified it with "at a really young age" - that doesn't necessarily apply to vezenkov. he'll be good because he's legitimately good.

By the way, when Dean says "French guys are overrated" he literally means people who are French and not just players who played in the French League. He also means that they get overrated specifically because they are French. This is what kicked off this conversation. If you want to be on that side of the fence, go for it I guess.
