But, it's always good to have players like that and he was really enthusiastic about joining the league. He's the frontrunner for most improved player in the league right now because really he has tons of room to get better.

There are two league players who didn't play this time but even with 9, we're all gonna get pretty familiar with each other's games. It really creates opportunities for complex play that don't exist in what is often basically random stranger vs random stranger poker games.

Good point. At your jazz fans poker games I don't even try to figure out peoples styles or tells or whatever. Not enough of a sample size..... And too much damn booze

Me too. He works on my shift and he is just as into Jazz basketball as anyone on this site. We talk about the Jazz all the time and he streams a lot of the games on his phone so I've been able to watch the finish of a few huge games from last season because of him.

He is way into being in the league and I'm sure he'll improve over the course of the season. He is brand new to poker. I think that was the second poker game he's played in.
 
Sorry I missed the game this month, I had a last minute business trip come up.

Did you decide on the date of the next game?

We are looking at either the 11th or the 18th. If you have a strong preference one way or another let me know. Austin is flying back into town on the 11th but he said it works for him as long as we start at 6pm or later. The 18th is the Saturday before Father's Day, so I'm leaning towards the 11th.
 
Good game everyone. The diverse group of personalities makes for a great poker game. Jamezz got me good, I checked right into a straight and gave him all my chips with a pair of jacks.

Yeah I think it's awesome that we had a native Spaniard, a native Jordanian and a native Brazilian in a seven person home poker game in Utah.

Crap, I have something on the 11th. But the 18th works for me.
