We missed out big time on not getting Lillard. He is going to be the rookie of the year. We should have thrown everything to get him. Probably has a higher upside then Favors.

Everything I have seena dn read indicates that the teams in the lottery were demanding unreasonable prices to get into the lottery. Why do you think so few draft day trades went down?

I would have loved Lillard on the Jazz but not at the cost of butchering what we already have.

Do you even know what efforts were made by the Jazz to get Lillard? Or what it would have taken to get that pick from Portland?

WHo are we going to get with the Golden State pick because GS is going to turn out to be a good team. What happens to our pick then? We should have bundled our pick and a player. I like Mo but Tinsley looks like he couldn't make a basket on a 6ft hoop. Watson is getting just as old. We never should have resigned those two. I can't believe we got rid of Ronnie Price for those two old mediocre players. Lillard is going to be good.

yes he looks great, we do not know how hard KOC tried to draft him, but we still have Kanter hehe.

seriously GS tanked so hard but Portland was in the same need as we to get QPG, so we have slim chance to get him. I prefer milsap than him anyway.

Maybe they tried. But as Stoked mentioned teams were asking a lot for lottery picks.

Well, Portland drafted him so now he's cursed. I don't want anything to do with him.

Blame Golden State. I know Lillard would have been gone already if Utah got their pick, but their tanking caused a chain reaction.

I' more worried about GS pulling another tank again than actually being good. Bogut has been out the whole preseason and Curry already tweaked his ankle a few days ago. Smart money would bet on him going down again.

I agree that Curry seems more likely than not to miss time with more ankle problems, but even if Bogut takes a while to come back and Curry misses exteneded periods of time, the Warriors should still be better than last year. They have Harrison Barnes, Klay Thompson will be better, they added Jarrett Jack, and Mark Jackson figures to get better as a coach in his second season.

+1.

We got screwed. Us not getting Lillard had nothing to do with the FO. Midway through the season it looked feasible that we could have landed both Lillard and Kidd-Gilchrist. Unfortunately, this did not happen.

You mean you don't remember when the Jazz were in prime position to get the #2 pick in the draft? Oh wait, neither do I.

If you look at the words 'midway through the season' you'll see that MKG was not projected to go #2 at that time.
