So what? Do you really think not shooting is going to help that stat? The shot is going to fall but he has to take it first. He’s hesitant on it right now which makes it worse. If he gets a good look he should shoot it without even thinking. That’s what’s going to bring it back.
He made a big effort to be aggressive, but I absolutely still want him taking 3s. I would prefer 7 or more every night from him. I have confidence they’re gonna start falling, you don’t?
And show me these horrible 3s he’s taking cause every one I saw tonight was good shot to me.

DM will need to start hitting his threes when playoffs come around.
There won’t be any putrid defense in the playoffs like we’ve seen the last few games against tanking teams.
It is concerning though his 3pt shot since all star break is 33/117. It’s becoming a trend not an anomaly.
He may have a rough stretch towards the end of this season after playing so many games and so many minutes. This very well may be a little bit of fatigue. He has a nice shot, it’s going to fall and improve, but he may struggle down the stretch of this season. I still want him taking them. He isn’t gonna make them if he isn’t taking them. It really doesn’t concern me, I still feel like it’s going in when he shoots it.....I’m not sure he does right now though.

I didn't see the game tonight, but I have seen Donovan standing well behind the 3pt line taking shots with plenty of time left on the shot clock. I don't see a huge reason to do that very often at all. If he can hit those shots with 5s or less on the shot clock, cool, because those shots are probably gonna be there any time he wants them. No need to take them with 12s left. Try to get a good look at the 3pt line (not well behind it) or pass it to someone else who's open.
Don't see why that's a controversial thing to point out at all. Donovan is absolutely amazing. But he isn't perfect, and that's the one thing I can think of that I don't really like.

DM was a man possessed getting the the rim today, blows my mind how elite he is already.
Not sure what was happening with our defense tonight. JJ has a history against us so maybe it was just a night they were making shots, either way I wont read too much into it.
