I feel like my read on Hendricks offensively was nearly 100% on, but I was really wrong on the defensive end.

I feel optimistic that Hendricks could be an All-Defensive Team type player.

Offensively he's what I thought he was, but I am surprised by how willing he is to try stuff he cant really do. I thought he would be a bit more rigid. Overall I think it's a good sign there might be more offensive upside than I thought he had.

It's hard to get a good feel for his defense because we are getting completely wiped every game....but physically he looks good on the perimeter and I think he's been better in the NBA than he was in the G-League at getting loose balls/making hustle plays.

I remember a lot of HH’s GLeague reports at how he’d get benched late in games because his defense was bad. Hopefully that was because he wasn’t as motivated because it’s the GLeague, but then again thinking he struggled to be motivated even if it’s just the GLeague isn’t good either.

You mean @homeytennis … HH does not watch g league.

Also I told y’all he was gonna be good and yall needed to be patient. Not that Bilal sucks but the amount of hand wringing that we didn’t get this guy or that guy was so dumb. Let’s all remember to be just a little more patient next year TIA.

Yeah that was my report about the defensive benching of both Tay Henny and Brice. To me the benchings made no sense since one of the purposes of being there is development. But Coach Woj saw something he didn't like and took action. That being said, the Jazz defense has been woeful wince the trade deadline and while you can't pin that failure on the three rooks they have gotten extensive playing time.

OK but that confidence that Bilal wasn’t even an option for us at 9…..was actually 100% right. It was an impossibility to get Bilal at 9. You and Eliza were on top of that one

I can’t claim to watch as much as Homey….but there were some seriously odd plays that made me question some things. Loose balls would float right past his face and he was either too slow to react/uninterested in going for them. I’m pleasantly surprised the opposite is true in the NBA. What I saw in the Gleague had me concerned about his effort level, but I’d say that’s been a huge plus in the actual league.
