He’s really fast. Like he could probably run sub 22.0 in the 200 meters. Not sure how that directly equates into basketball greatness doe.

I think Hood fits the role better than Almond at the 2. We were semi-excited about Almond but once summer league started, it felt pretty evident he wasn’t going to be what we needed. Hood on the other hand would flash brilliance (the Lakers game) to where we thought, holy ****, this dude can really ****ing stroke the ball. He’s gonna be a stud.

Then he’d poop himself.

He was still very good, always properly paid, accepted a reduced role, and was a genuine dude. He was a slight disappointment for me... not a first teamer imo. I think the league kinda changed on him, but I also didn't really expect him to be like Amare or Prime Dwight.
