I’m not really surprised by this article which is why that part stood out to me so much. A throw in on a trade is going to net us a 1st lmao.

Its not super legitimate. Its from harper at The Athletic... but I still pretty much believe it. I've said before I'd probably trade Royce as a test of Don's loyalty.

Yea that is why I question the writer's credibility. If it is true that the Jazz organization is bowing down to Mitchell then this team has no chance of winning a championship. Few players become great GMs. I have never seen the fascination with keeping Royce. He is a nice player but if someone offered me a first at this stage of his career I would bounce on it. He is declining and perhaps another example of the Jazz holding onto a player to long.
 
I believe anything from the top insiders because they're connected to Woj who's a CAA client just like Don Don.

Zach may have some local sources cuz he lived her a while back... but he likely just coming off the top of the dome.
