The Best Laid Plans . . . .

Probably true. I subscribe to the idea that if you yell and talk over somebody it makes you right. Same can be said for text. I like how you think. Thats why I love you too.

I have to apologize to you. I need to remember to type slower when I respond to your threads so that you can actually keep up.

What does how fast you type your posts have to do with my reading speed. The post comes over all at once. I cant see you typing in real time.

Good post. I do, however, believe this part is over-stated. I say this as a Christian (non-Mormon), not from Utah, conservative. I believe this accurately depicts the feelings of the protestant vocal extremists, but not the voting masses, myself included.

I'm hopeful .. but lack a great deal of optimism.

I have a friend who was in the Navy, stationed for some years in Florida, who told me someone actually asked him, in the presence of his wife, if he really had horns buried in his curly hair. His wife said "Of course he does", and they smirked at his expression of horror. But I do realize my rhetoric was a gross exaggeration generally, like some of the other stuff I said. . . . If I owned a major newspaper, I'd be pretty good at "yellow journalism" and would probably be very well paid by some interested social engineers/planners/change agent financiers unless I decided all that money wouldn't mean much when I'm writhing on the spit being slowly turned over the sulfurous fiery cauldrons of Hell.

I sincerely believe there are oh maybe twenty percent of the voters in the South who will hold their noses while voting for Mitt, and pray to Jesus for mercy. . . . for themselves as well as our Nation.

As an editorial note, I am usually unashamed at resorting to rhetoric of the most florid style to set up an unusual point of view.

cheers.

That's what I like about you. Grass roots sincerity. "An Israelite indeed, in whom there is no guile".

And now you're quoting scripture or something. Listen, babe, if it's not in a Stephen King book or a German metal band, then I'm lost. Please, dumb it down kind sir.
