The Biden Administration and All Things Politics

I work with a guy that was deployed in Afghanistan a few years ago. We were talking today about what is going on and he says that he has a buddy that was deployed to Afghanistan just last month and his tour has already been extended by 6 months. He says that he has two other buddies that just received their deployment papers that are also being sent to Afghanistan. I asked why are more troops being sent in for what appears to be an extended tour if we are pulling out. All he could tell me was that he doesn't believe a word of what Biden is telling the public.

"Stephen Miller never wore a uniform a day in his life. He's a privileged little brat”

lol Friendly interviewer trying to give Biden a moment to show his compassion regarding people falling off the aeroplane His repsonse "THAT WAS FOUR, FIVE DAYS AGO"

it'd be bloody funny if it wasn't so pathetic

Lol who the hell cares what Steve Miller says? Your presidents lack of intelligence is getting little girls raped, forced to marry, woman are being beaten or murdered for not wearing the proper clothing, protesters are getting murdered in cold blood, kids are falling off airplanes, 10,000+ Americans are in immediate danger in hiding, the idiots don't even know how many, a war was lost, China just got stronger and richer, Taliban acquired sophisticated military equipment, terrorist cells are beginning to rise globally while our borders are still open...and Biden is on vacation while the Whitehouse is in peril.

Biden administration embroiled in internal blame-shifting amid Afghanistan chaos

But Steve Miller said something that got an grown *** man mad. What a petty complaint.

It's crazy silent in here. You all would spend weeks obsessively compulsively crying if Trump accidentally misspoke or God forbid some unknown non-existent whistleblower completely made up a story of Trump saying something mean about our military despite over 30 witnesses saying otherwise... Yet here you are, silent when Biden is responsible for death, rape, actual insurrection(uneducated you are), war, woman forced back into slavery, and what could be defined as war crimes(arming the enemy with sophisticated equipment that is now in the hands of China.)

Tribalism.... Cowardice... embarrassed...

Silent

If you cannot get past WSJ paywall. The July 13th memo urged evacuations of our Afghan allies should begin immediately, and no later than August 1st:

Jfc listening to this dementia ridden idiot and he can't even formulate full sentences. Hell start then just randomly interrupt himself and go off on a different tangent. "My name is Joe Biden and I...well let's me rephrase that. The TalYBan(moron) is mean."

Looks like the reformed new age sensitive to their public image Taliban isn’t so much that way Who would’ve thought. Good lord those poor Afghan women and children

Anyone who thought getting out of Afghanistan would be easy hasn't been paying attention for the last few hundred years.

That being said, I will say that Biden is doing a bad thing badly. I can't see how he could have messed this up worse than he did. Well, OK, I can - he could have airdropped contaminated hotdogs.

I'm vaccinated against contaminated hot dogs. I'd be OK.

Journalist Craig Whitlock’s new book, “The Afghanistan Papers: A Secret History of the War,” will help ensure that no one forgets the harm America’s civilian and military leaders did, the lies they told, and the war they lost.

Synthesizing more than 1,000 interviews and 10,000 pages of documents, Whitlock provides a stunning study of failure and mendacity, an irrefutable account of the U.S.’s ignoble defeat in the words of those who — from the battlefield to NATO headquarters in Kabul and from the Pentagon to the White House — got it so wrong for so long, papered their failures over with falsehoods, and sought to avoid even an ounce of accountability…..

….the indefatigable Whitlock and his employer, the Washington Post, via two Freedom of Information Act lawsuits, forced the government to turn over the files. These records became the foundation of an award-winning series for the Post; now, combined with several troves of documents from various public collections, these files make “The Afghanistan Papers” the most comprehensive American accounting of the conflict and help explain, better than any book yet, why so many of those who planned, guided, and fought the war failed so spectacularly.

Deftly assembling accounts thematically and chronologically, Whitlock allows America’s war managers to hang themselves with their own quotes, offering an encyclopedic catalogue of lies and ineptitude, delusion and denial, incompetence and corruption, and, most of all, rank cowardice. Again and again, Whitlock presents the pessimistic assessments and harsh judgments of officials who believed that their remarks would never become public — war makers who could have spoken out publicly but too often kept their appraisals under wraps or voiced them when it was too late to matter.

“We didn’t have the foggiest notion of what we were undertaking,” recalled Army Lt. Gen. Douglas Lute, the White House war czar under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

“We did not know what we were doing,” said Richard Boucher, the Bush administration’s top diplomat for South and Central Asia.

“There was a tremendous … dysfunctionality in unity of command inside of Afghanistan, inside the military,” recalled Army Lt. Gen. David Barno, an early Afghanistan War commander.

“There was no campaign plan,” confessed Army Gen. Dan McNeill, who twice served as the top commander in Afghanistan under Bush. “I tried to get someone to define for me what winning meant, even before I went over, and nobody could.”

Biden says Americans can walk right up to the airport and get in.

"We've made an agreement with the Taliban, thus far, they've allowed them to go through," Biden said. "So we know of no circumstance where American citizens, carrying an American passport, are trying to get through to the airport."

Journalist are saying Americans are being beaten and their passports stolen. The Embassy has put this out AFTER Biden lied.

"Because of potential security threats outside the gates at the Kabul airport, we are advising U.S. citizens to avoid traveling to the airport and to avoid airport gates at this time unless you receive individual instructions from a U.S. government representative to do so," the security alert read.

Dude is a war criminal and should be impeached right now. He's blatantly done far worse than Trump and he's been impeached twice.
