those are just two examples, there are heaps which i'm not going to waste my time bringing up. Even CNN said he made false statements. If you listen and think he's on the ball .. well we'll have to agree to disagree. Without the abuse thanks.

if you could read and process without constantly trying to revert to being a smart arse you would have noticed i said i don't think he actually has dementia, that he just looks like an 80 year old bloke who's struggling a little. And you know isn't as sharp as people who aren't 80 years old.

I continue to see people slamming Biden on Facebook for having dementia, for being feeble minded, for being unable to render a rational thought.

But none of that is evident in his addresses as president so far.

Most of the claims I have seen are coming from Trump supporters who also believe Biden stole the election. Both accusations, Biden is dim witted, and Biden stole the election, were constantly promoted by Trump. Trump began priming the pump on “if I lose, it will only because the election was stolen” months before the election. He did so by design, to lay the groundwork for the Big Lie, that most Republicans now believe.

Trump also repeatedly called Biden’s cognitive health into question, demanding he take a cognitive test, and release the results. This too he promoted throughout the 2020 campaign, long before November 3rd.

So, I would say consider the source for both claims. These are Trump supporters, comfortable in their alternative facts reality. Trump told them these things, therefore these claims must be true.

These claims come from people who want to believe them. The last thing they can relate to is the truth of the matter. It’s an unfortunate fact of our Post Truth landscape.

And it’s why crafting a Big Lie, and removing any chance of a consensus reality within our body politic, is so incredibly damaging.
