The Biden Administration and All Things Politics

I thought Repubs didn’t like inflation? Now they’re cheering it on? Huh, how interesting. Almost like they went Obama I mean Biden to fail. Sorry, I said Obama because I seem to remember this exact same playbook from somewhere before…

The blind adherence to party, to the level of ignoring and flat out sanctioning illegal actions that resulted in physical harm, property destruction, and even death, is truly the same path taken by adherents to the Nazi party. The similarities are straight up terrifying. And all it takes is a populace that turns a blind eye to get to the next level. Such a sad state our political system is in right now. Time to clean house and just replace everybody.

same deal here mate. Both sides of politics are abominable

Except here one party has some good ideas and tries to govern but is terrible at politics while the other party no longer cares about truth and lies, has no platform aside from tax cuts to big donors and waging a culture war, and is actively working to destroy democracy so it doesn’t have to win elections to maintain political power.

Both sides aren’t the same.

We see what Christian ethno white nationalism has done to Russia, Poland, Hungary, and Brazil. It’s not a pretty picture. I’d gladly take a liberal party that sucks at politics over the Christian ethno white nationalism that the global right is peddling right now.

thank f for the ignore function. Not interested in reading what i'm sure is a "we good, them bad" spewing forth of one sided garbage. This pandemic has shown that both sides of politics at least what i can say for here are atrocious corrupt self interested powermongers

Clown putting on a clown show.

Tucker is not a trucker. He couldn't even handle a single shift in a truck stop diner serving tables.

What high comedy would ensue if he tried?

For those who aren’t intellectually cut off and incurious, here is some interesting reading about the current dangers of this right wing authoritarianism:

It should be noted that most of these authors aren’t Democrats. They’re actually conservatives who recognize the threat of authoritarianism that is overtaking liberal democracy across Europe and the Americas. You can’t call me biased when I actually cite conservative voices here. I find it interesting that those who accuse me of being biased never ever cite any liberal authors to balance their own biases and dispel notions of their own confirmation bias.

Thriller, you are just dishonest. "Most of these authors aren't Democrats, they're actually conservatives...

So when you say "Most" you mean "None"

Thriller you are biased. There is nothing wrong with being biased, accept it.

Just stop being dishonest!

Here is a liberal author that I will cite, to talk about the importance of "Peaceful" protests...not riots
Masha Gessen (see above) - https://lithub.com/masha-gessen-why-we-must-protest/ - "Peaceful protest is as important a democratic institution as are elections."

While nothing in that clip is Republicans cheering inflation on, I will give you credit for appearing to recognize inflation is a thing and it is a problem. It is a long way from 6 weeks ago when you spent a month telling everyone that inflation wasn’t real except for milk and would evaporate entirely by March when people stopped buying as much milk.
So if milk is this month's flavor, why won't inflation concerns evaporate in the next few months too?

If you can come that far in only 6 weeks, who knows what is possible? Maybe 6 weeks from now you’ll be driving the wagon to vote out the cause of all this inflation and replace them with some responsible neoliberal fiscal conservatives to get us back on track.

Oh weird. Another post that you respond to and @Bucknutz likes immediately. I’m sure you two aren’t the same poster.

It’s funny how you think Biden and the Democrats are the cause for inflation when it’s happening in most industrialized countries everywhere. It’s almost like once a century global pandemic is having a global impact on the global supply chain. And your solution is to re-elect the same folks who bungled the initial Covid response, told us to shoot up lysol and stick flashlights up our butts, and overturn election results will do better? Um. Okay

You want to vote out incredibly low unemployment levels and the ending of the covid19 pandemic?
The "incredibly low unemployment levels" are a deceptive statistic meant to hide the damage the Democrats have done to the economy as can been seen in the more holistic labor force participation rate. Sixteen-million jobs that existed before the pandemic are gone. At least it proves false all those who said Biden is a houseplant because a houseplant would have done a better job.
