Can you explain what "having a house burn down" means? I understand that's difficult... Those words are insanely tough but explain it.
He was out of his home for a period.
Having a house fire that required evacuation.

I see you tried to quote Biden saying this, and failed. He used, and you quoted him, "having a significant portion of it burn" to describe the event.
Not being able to re-occupy your home for several months would give one a little sense of what it is like to lose a home.
