The Biden Administration and All Things Politics

Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but because of the recent discussion that's exactly what I'm going to do... right now.

That's easy, wipe out the humans. Simultaneously fix traffic, and save the world.

Oh sure, you want us to believe that as soon as they line up the sun sends out a laser or something and makes a point? Obviously that's God, flipping the light switch. Sheeple.
Lol
Or, like my ex co worker believed, it's just the deep state flipping the light switch on the set of the Truman show. (He believed that the stars were just a projection screen being displayed by the government to control us. No stars. No moon. No galaxies or solar system. All those things are tools of governmental countrol)

Social media was a huge mistake.
I've said repeatedly it'll be our ultimate downfall. Social media in general is destructive to society and the human mind. The perfect addiction machine, turns kids brains to jelly from the moment they get their first iPhone. Does the same to adults but they just lose IQ points rapidly, believing everything they see. It's a mass of confirmation bias, driving prejudicial thinking and decaying social bonds, which has serious repercussions even IRL. It's a bane on humanity and will be instrumental in our final destruction.

It’s pretty insane to me how much the media wants Trump back. Can you imagine any previous president being bashed for creating too many jobs? Unreal framing.

Too many jobs are being created? Oh noes! Guess we gotta vote for fascism. Germany had reparations for a big war and a historic depression. America has the lowest inflation of the industrialized world, too many jobs, and a populace bored to ****.

Got a good laugh out of Marjorie Green’s “repent!” Tweet, regarding earthquakes, eclipses, and an angry god, but, in fairness…..

Like social media, organized religion in America (and probably most other places) was a mistake. But it just seems like in America right now, evangelical Christianity has taken a very hard turn. Why must it have such a sharp edge? Why must it be so deep into paranoia and conspiracy? Why has America the state become synonymous with god’s kingdom? Why has Trump become synonymous with Jesus?

Do Christians in Brazil, Canada, Finland, or New Zealand see their countries as being god’s kingdom on earth? Do they believe if a leader is elected by the opposition party that god’s kingdom on earth will fail and Satan will win? Do they believe natural disasters that hit their countries are god’s punishments? I’m old enough to remember when prominent pastors in America blamed 9/11 on gays. Now it’s blaming trans people, those who oppose Trump, and racial minorities for everything (it’s. Growing list) that Christians find intolerable (history books, libraries, schools, etc). How harmful is this?

Why must Christianity (and probably any organized religion) define and wage war against “the other?” Especially when the founder of the religion’s primary message was one of love, tolerance, inclusion, and mercy?
