The Biden Administration and All Things Politics

And I hate using fox news and this technically isn't but it still gets the point across. All I hear about it Trump but the actual Biden administration is sitting here pushing blatant lies and propaganda all while accusing Trump of lying and deep fakes.. This is our actual president. This is the actual people in charge, not Trump. Someone explain how jetlag last 2 weeks? Especially when he was in vacation at Camp David for 6 straight days. If this were Trump we'd hear about it for weeks. But no, these people who claim to be conservative don't say a word. Not one.

Fair enough, but I do see it, and I’m not sure “right” is the best way to look at things in 2024. It is too vague. I’m not sure that if I were having a conversation with myself from ten years ago that me and me-from-ten-years-ago would agree on what constituted being politically right wing.

Fish is not be toeing the conservative establishment line, but he also doesn’t consistently echo the progressive line. I see Fish as almost a 1990’s Democrat who in 2024 doesn’t have a fondness for either side but definitely has a stronger dislike for one of the sides. I can see how he would come across as being on the political left to some, but I don’t see him that way.

Fish has pretty clearly said that his main beef is with Trump himself not so much the right and has said in not so many words that his vitriol is admittedly sometimes over the top purely because he hates Trump so much. He's pretty consistently said he holds no great love for Biden and thinks he's too old etc and if it wasn't for Trump he probably wouldn't vote for Biden and would be indifferent to politics
 
Yep. I can think a law is inconsequential or unimportant and still think someone should be prosecuted for breaking it.

I'm not necessarily arguing that. I'm arguing that Biden is the president and for a right leaning person his main focus is on Trump. That is what I'm arguing. I'm saying you can hate Trump and also hate Biden but what I mostly see is Trump, Trump, Trump. To me, if someone were being middle of the road, they'd have just as much to say about Trump as they would Biden. Outside of me and a select few nobody ever seems to care about the disasters our actual president brings. It always goes back to Trump. I mean, this is the Biden thread and he get's free passes on mostly every stupid thing he does. For example... BIdens own daughter admits she had showers with him that were "more than likely inappropriate" and not one person here says a word. Image the outrage if Ivanka had that in her diary. Now his daughter said people have misunderstood that but c'mon. There's no misunderstanding that Biden had inappropriate showers with his daughter. Or something simple as Biden saying his Uncle was eaten by cannibals in front of the entire world. This is the actual president of our country and people let it slide.

That is what I'm saying. If someone is right leaning they are going to call Biden out too. You can dislike Trump but Biden, not Trump is the guy in charge.

So, Biden should be prosecuted for breaking laws or does that only apply to Trump? As I've said, you seem to only push for one to be arrested. Me? I agree with the Supreme Court that Biden has immunity. I don't like it, and know he broke the law, but we can't be opening up pandoras box here and arresting political opponents for whatever laws they conjure up. It baffles me that you guys are ok with that. I was reading how some Republicans wanted to arrest Biden for accessory when an illegal his administration let in raped and killed a 12 year old girl. Do we really want to do this even though his carelessness had a small part in it? I say hell no.
 
I mean... Imagine if Trump wins and in 2 years his 3rd in command of the DoJ leaves to go and prosecute Presidential Candidate Gavin Newsome(that name just for example purposes) for some random crime multiple AG's and even the FEC refused to prosecute. Imagine that DoJ person making the case in a district that was 90% Republican. Imagine the Judge being a legit Trump voter who donated money to Trump campaign and also a campaign literally dedicated to "stopping Newsome" fundraiser. Lets not forget that this Judges own daughter worked for Trump at one point and currently works for very prominent Republican candidates.

@fishonjazz you know damn well you and all others here would be calling Trump every name in the book. Even Trumps worst enemies, people like Andrew Cuomo, says the entire thing is a fraud. Sadly I don't think you will admit it but I guarantee you that if the shoe was on the other foot, you'd be angry. Keep in mind this guy below HATES Trump. But here he is being 100% honest.

Cuomo: Trump NY hush money case ‘should have never been brought’​


Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) suggested Friday that the New York hush money case against former President Trump was only brought forward because of his name and White House bid.

Cuomo, in an interview Friday on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” argued that the case should have “never” been brought forward.

“If his name was not Donald Trump and if he wasn’t running for president … I’m the former AG of in New York, [and] I’m telling you that case would’ve never been brought.”
