Can you define a career through the first 2 seasons? Also I never advocated for Burke starting. I really don't think the starting PG matters as much as having Hood start over Burks.

I care less about who starts and more about making sure our best players are on the floor. We need more mins for our wings than there are available(96). Our pg rotation sucks and Hayward is a pretty good distributor so I think we can steal some of those mins and re-purpose them. We need between 10-20 more mins for our wings. So start and end with your best 5 players. Burks, Hood, Hayward, Favors, Gobert. Do that and you have enough minutes for Hayward/Hood/Burks to play at least 30 and still be able to play Jingles.

These threads were mildly entertaining the first 98 times. MILDLY. At this point I'd rather read carolinajazzer.

Burke's career is as long as it is. His career thus far is defined by 2 seasons. What angle are you looking for?

I'm not saying he can't improve. I will say his best shot at improvement is settling into a bench role.

I've also advocated for Hood starting. I think that's a no-brainer.

Burke played equally well in both roles. The difference tonight was that our bigs (Rudy, Fav) actually came out tonight.

Look back at the OKC boxscore. Our PG play wasn't the reason we lost.

Which preseason are we talking about right now? This one or last year? How much are you loving preseason, though, braugh? Woot.

I remember Burke doing this to Jackson early last year.

If the defender did not bite, it was a turnover, block or missed shot. When he drived in he narrowed his angles to kick out. That's what he needs to work on.

This preseason-- and I'm loving it 'braugh' *cringe*

There's nothing wrong with being impressed and hopeful about what we've seen from Trey in the preseason. To be honest, it really just underscores how valuable he can be to the second unit. He might actually be the perfect fit for that role. He could go from a real liability to a terrific asset. I wish him the best.
