What's new

The Cheesheads are getting organized- This is WAR!!!

The Bucks may be the Jazz toughest competition going for the #1 pick. I think it is time to go deer hunting.

If the Bucks are really that bad, then at least they will wipe out a couple of those east teams. Gotta play eachother.

I think I'm on board with Gpa.

The Tank: Don't ask don't tell.

Yep. Also, that'd be a lot of incentive for the league to certainly not rig in your general direction.

Also, do these fans not realize they only have 2 wins?

Also, also: our tank is in a tenuous spot, especially after our last win. Everyone is panicking about how bad we are but don't realize we won't be this bad all season, not even close, and we need as many Ls in the bag early on as possible to pad our record for when we start occasionally winning games here and there.

Oh, Grandpa

Joe Bag! Just being true to my genre. Some people may say Fuddy-duddy, i just refer to it as........... decorum. Blast it, i live in Utah. If i cant feel more moral than other folk why am i here? Otherwise i would live in California (But i still wouldn't be a Laker fan).

The league does not rig the draft so stop with that stupid crap. Even if they were willing to risk a PR nightmare like that, do you honestly believe that a silly antic by a few isolated fans would be their incentive?

David Stern: Did you see what Joe Schmoe who lives in a trailer park out in Utah did the other day?
Minion: Yeah. Isn't he the guy who decorated his truck up like a tank and drove it around the stadium before the game. That was some pretty funny ****.
David Stern: You were entertained? You're fired! Gordon Hayward was crying when he learned about it and I don't blame him one bit. I'll get that organization back for allowing one of their fans to pull a stunt like this if it's the last thing I do!

You crack me up, Grandpa. Your responses often remind me of my gullible sister-in-law who takes every conversation seriously. She's so entertaining to tease and she usually ends up laughing about the fact that she's always the last one in on the joke. But with this comment you have me wondering if I should be taking you seriously or not. Do you really live in Utah for moral reasons? Would you prefer to live elsewhere but are staying here because of the statement it makes? If true, that blows my mind.

How old are you, BTW?

Oh Joe. Seldom, if ever, take my conversation seriously. Sometimes i do take things (posts) too seriously but "moral reasons" wasn't one of those times. Just making light with the local reputation.

Would you prefer to live elsewhere but are staying here because of the statement it makes? If true, that blows my mind.

If that were true, your mind should be blown. That there are people here (in Utah) who that would apply too is a sad reality. If we can't make fun of our own culture well, everyone else will.

I truly think that the "tank" suggestions that triggered my post are indeed a poor idea. Whats the harm? Well ask those in Milwaukee who put up those signs. That bit of idiocy probably started as a result of someone just having fun
and it became a reality which IMHO reflects poorly on those fans. It wouldn't be worth mentioning (on this forum) if it didn't.

Come on Joe,
blast it,!
Was just an attempt to seem more Grandpa-ish. By the by i am 66 years old which is apropos of almost nothing.

In short i was just kidding, kinda), trying to make my point with some humor. Who is "gullible" now?

I love your username.... Joe Bagadonuts. Grandpa Jazz........ just marked me as someone to not take seriously, so i just try to roll with that.

Does anyone really understand anyone else?

Would you prefer to live elsewhere

Well right now somewhere warmer sounds nice. In the summer, somewhere cooler seems nice.

I hope some of this makes sense to you.

Pretty sure I agree with you, Joe, but will have to run it by management before toting any official line.

We literally need to get a jazz tank at the games, or driving around the arena on game nights. That would be so awesome. Pimp out an old truck to look like a tank, and paint it with jazz colors and logo, get a cutout of the players driving it. Karl Malone statue on it, and a license plate that says Jabari.

You got my support B line. Make it happen

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner! Give this guy the rep he deserves.

Now, go out and make it happen b_line. We're all counting on you.

Can't we just do our tanking business with a little class. Lets just loose cause we have a poorly performing team led by the wrong people. If in the end they don't perform badly enough, so be it. Can you imagine being a Jazz player and seeing this stuff in the arena. If it were me i wouldn't want to play here any more and would only respect a player that wanted no part of this kind of charade.

Bucks will lap us in the tank competition. Ain't even gonna be close.

BTW, what's with the ping pong ball that has both the number 2 and the number 26 on it?

Check out the article below:

So are we going to just sit here and get outflanked?

I hope so. You all realize that only three teams in the lotto era have actually won the lottery. Right!

Oh. So who were these lucky winners?

BTW, the only draft lottery that I've ever seen a shred of credible evidence for being rigged was Ewing. Looking at the safeguards that are now in place it seems extremely unlikely that the lottery is rigged. That will never stop the conspiracy theorists from freaking out every single time, though.

If you knew what I knew it would keep you up at night Joe.

Been told not to share it on here but what I know would make your head spin.
