Valid point taken of course; yet may be as a species we are just not bounded to be here forever and to remain what we are now for ever.If you have a species that is self conscious, is able to use intelligence to change the world, but does not know enough about how any changes affect that world, that’s a flawed species, in my estimation. Or at least it’s a condition of innate ignorance that can lead to problems. For instance, the car was invented without any understanding of greenhouse gases and their effect on climate. Other animals, on the other hand, don’t seem to initiate things that can throw entire systems out of whack.
Can we leave Jazz fans to the last please? It's because of humans. Wipe out all humans, save the world. We have zero intrinsic value as a species. Agent Smith was right, we are a virus on the planet. Consuming and destroying everything we touch. If people are truly serious about saving the planet they need to look at reducing the number of humans whose very existence poses an existential threat to every other species on the planet.
Eliminate the humans, save the planet. Simple.
Yeah cancel warriors should be canceled, and cancelers of cancelers as well and... soon enough we are in LopGrad territory... who cares, it will be just the top of the pyramid who will evolve and leave to be gypsies and colonizers and continue to change out there <insert gif of Charles and Camilla waving hands from the terrace here>.<...> the typical cancel culture warrior who uses shame to exert power <...>.
Stop it Steven Pinker warrior! There is one amazing thing this planet has produced... intelligent self aware beings.
Sorry Al, wrong forum. Not science or data admitted. Just coaching and some emotional neurosciences allowed.Yeah, sure except for nearly all of history as far back as we can look and in every direction. Evolution didn't start when humans came on the scene. Evolution is life trying to tilt the system for their advantage and the fossil record is littered with victims. Nothing humans have done in their collective history is even 0.1% as destructive as the Great Oxidation Event foisted on the planet by cyanobacteria.

Dying now would likely be his greatest gift to his countrymen and women. He would never do that, lolol. Anyway, Project 2025 is the playbook, or so the Right hopes, for whoever the next Republican president is.He has said he plans on giving big tax breaks to oil, coal, etc companies.
He gonna be dead soon anyway and he doesn't care about anyone else so it makes sense from his perspective

So if we don't stop burning fossil fuels there will be less of this:2023 smashes record for world’s hottest year by huge margin
Rapid reduction in fossil fuel burning urgently needed to preserve liveable conditions, say scientists, as climate damage deepenswww.theguardian.com
Lol at that big *** watchSo if we don't stop burning fossil fuels there will be less of this:

You claim to work with data, and you don't understand the difference between a mean and a standard deviation? So if we don't stop burning fossil fuels there will be less of this:
...and more of this:
Sure. The mean is easy to convey using an anecdotal example while a standard deviation is a more abstract concept. For instance, the mean bra size in America in 2024 is a 34DD. Anecdotally, the American mean is this:You claim to work with data, and you don't understand the difference between a mean and a standard deviation?
That bitch knows what time it is!Lol at that big *** watch

I know Trump is mean and is definitely a non-standard deviation. You claim to work with data, and you don't understand the difference between a mean and a standard deviation?
Random fact, but did you know the one time head of the EPA was Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch's Mom?Not directly related to climate change, but the effort to “deconstruct the administrative state” would certainly include gutting the power of the EPA.
