given our injury history it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up getting 22-23 min Really looking forward to seeing what he can do without getting my hopes crazy high

Correction.
If he plays a full season making it close to the same as Hill did when he played half the games. Basically almost half as effective as Hill per game. Geez people, get a grip. Have a little hope and/or faith in the kid. I see something in him I haven't seen in anyone here in a long time. I hope it doesn't die out before it gets going, that controlled fire.
Is he playing 32 MPG? I dont think so. Your math doesnt make sense then, even if you were right about being half as effective.
I think he'll find his way into the rotation but i don't expect him to play more that 18 mins per night in his first year. He'll do his share of sitting and learning, maybe water to wine and bread and fish will be a second year sort of thing...
By mid-season, I think he'll be getting 25 mpg. Even as a rookie, he might be the best shooter we have in the backcourt, and the Jazz are likely going to push his development rather than hold back.

I've learned that you don't want to hype DM in his hype thread. He will be a rookie, so therefore he will suck.
He will make rookie mistakes, will miss rookie shots, and will defend in the wrong rookie spots.
Deal with it.
Please force me to pick apart and destroy your hope.
Thanks
coming from a Hawks supporter i'm not sure what to read into that ....
No one can destroy my hope. I am completely on the bandwagon for DM, and I don't even know why anyone would try to "protect" themselves from being disappointed.
Fanaticism is supposed to be reckless, unreasonable, and homer-****ing-tastic. All of you hedgers are just afraid of being wrong on the internet because you are so very in love with acting like you are right, were right, and will always be right like some kind of religious soothsayer.
I'll root for the Jazz over that autoeroticism any day.
