. No, that was not the Mav's A team. But you get 2 things with Bryce at all times. One, the belief that he has to prove himself every single time he sets foot on the court. This is the result of a lifetime of doubt and rejection. A lifetime of being told "next level? Naw, sorry, you're not good enough; try to be more realistic".Every single step of the way. But you also get a will and determination second to none. Folks can ask themselves: does Cotton really look like a rookie out there? I don't think he does at all. He looks the part of a 4 year player with maturity beyond his years. Take the fact that he's been told he can't do it, combine it with a will that says "I will prove you wrong. I am better then you think I am". Add to that his skill set and althleticism, and the only thing that will truly surprise me is if he does not become an excellent point guard in this league. You're never getting his foot out of the door now. Maybe he's traded, but he is not leaving the NBA anytime soon. And the way he played last night. Put the Mav's A team in. There will not be a drop off in energy or production. Maybe Snyder designed that alley-oop to help shop him this summer. Now, there will be takers.....
