That is probably one of the more horrific nicknames Ive ever heard. I realize you're a grandpa, but we don't need to use words from the early 1900's. I mean no disrespect.

Vinylone, yes you do! But that's o.k. I think it would be a pretty horrific nickname myself. I wouldn't expect any respect from a Los Angelino or from someone who wants others to think he is from the " City of Angles".

In regards to respect, I don't know you so respecting you outright would be foolish. I do however give you the benefit of the doubt and think that you're probably a decent human being and a good member of society. Most people are.

vinylone- As any self respecting Jazz fan i detest the Lakers, including the city they represent. As far as a "good human being and "good member of society" that is all depending on one's point of view. I would say sometimes i am and sometimes i'm not.
No math references intended. Just a reference to Los Angelenos having a propensity to "work the angles". An imperfect analogy at best. Sheesh! Chill!
So i take it you then respect no one on this forum since it's reasonable to conclude you know none of us.
Hack- "The good old days" also depends on external factors. To some they were 10 minutes ago to others 100 years ago. Where would you like me to start? I'm only good for about the last 50 years.
