The Inevitability of Impeachment

It's a problematic statement because you assume that all presidents are the same. Trump gets called out more because he's simply the worst president ever, at least in living memory. He's the least qualified one, the least experienced on, the most combative one, the most vain one, and as this Russian affair might reveal, possibly the most corrupt one. Of course he gets called out more, what do you expect? Do you figure that the media should criticize all presidents the same amount?

Cousins has 19 technicals this year while Hayward has 0. You figure it's the refs not treating them the same or maybe Cousins just does more stupid **** that is punishable by a tech than Hayward does?

While some of this may be true parts of it are nothing more than your personal opinion.

I find faults with arguments like this as it implies it is either/or. I don't think it is.

I think that both sides are antagonistic and petty towards the other.

This x 2.

Partisan hackery is running amok while a dumb**** desecrates our crumbling institutions.

How is me disliking the behavior of both partisan hackery?

Quick tell me what everything means. tia.

You're constantly seeking to make moral equivalents between Left and Right. Of all the posters on JFC, you're most committed to some dialectical view of history. You have crafted a few phrases to make it seem fresh and with-it, but it's tired as ****.

As tired as your petty targeting of posters at random.

You're don't like my posts? Cool. Don't respond, problem solved. But you r spend to me in ******* fashion and I'll mock and dismiss you as such.

Let me know when you're off your current whatever this is. Bye.

Really? Was there another president in the past 50 years who was elected without previously serving either in congress or as a state governor? Was there another president elected in the past 50 years who threatened and verbally abused his "enemies" daily? Was there another president in the past 50 years who kept threatening to curtail freedom of the press? Was there another president elected in the past 50 years who took every criticism from any source personally and felt obliged to respond to it? What exactly is "my personal opinion" here? And honestly, was there another president you can truly say gave off this strong of a "I-don't-know-what-the-****-I'm-doing" vibe?

Context is everything.

Never doubt the ability of partisan hacks to create moral equivalents and wash everything into a mass of indifferentiates.

It was inevitable.

Presidency should be dissolved. The responsibilities and powers of the office should be divided amongst existing and new institutions. We have allowed too much power to be concentrated in the hands of one person. Frankly it's just too dangerous.

hard to argue against that. To me, it's clear that we're experiencing the death throes of an Empire. You speak of a sensible new order. I'm wondering how much disorder lies between us and something like what you've sketched.
