I'm not a Brooks fan and don't want him on the Jazz. When people say stuff like, "you would love him if he were on your team" I strongly disagree . That said if the Jazz could get him on a deal, I could probably talk myself in to beig ok with it.

I feel like Dillon Brooks on court value is probably about MLE level, so if we could get him for half the MLE level that's probably good value. I think the main problem is that Dillon Brooks thinks he's a Max level player.

It will be interesting how this plays out.

The problem with Brooks is not that he is just a unreliable shooter, it's that he thinks he's the main character. Can you coach him into thinking he's just a strange but memorable(in a bad way) NPC? I have my doubts.
Here's the thing, though; this is basically the exact scenario where you can both hope that he finds some self-awareness and where a team can afford to take the risk. Potentially being on the brink might be enough for him to get his **** under control and the cost to find out might be low.

A gamble with all upside and no downside is not a gamble at all. That might be where this is headed for some team.

This dude has received more hate than anyone I've seen in a long time. Maybe it's deserved... But I would like to see what he does during the off-season now. Maybe it's an opportunity to get a decent role player cheap. Who really knows?

Sad he didn’t play in the era’s with Bird, Jordan, Reggie Miller. That would’ve been fun. Or seeing him try to trash talk Stockton. Had he talked at Jordan like he did Bron, Jordan would’ve made sure to turn him into a footnote for someone Jordan destroyed. Lol

Its playing with fire.

Maybe we should be very concerned over the Grizzlies cutting complete ties.

I just really like the idea of Brooks if he didn't have to go to such extremes to get his rocks off. Seems like he could be ride or die to his play style to a huge fault ala Westbrook.

But if you could just get him to be honest with himself about who he is as a player he'd be really good.

If I'm being real though that team can't be the Jazz. Don't have strong enough star veteran leadership to convert Brooks.

I remember the 31 points he dropped on us in the playoffs. I kept thinking damned I wish we had that guy. I'm not trying to be funny but it sounds like he needs to be directed into an employee's assistance program. The dude has some issues.
