What's new

The Jazz are BACK

Let's give this revival three games.

I want nothing more than to jump on board. But the train needs to leave the station if I'm going to take a ride.
If you’re waiting until it leaves the station, it may be too hard to catch up to, and if you do, you have to dangerously run and jump, and may risk getting your legs severed on the track.

No.

a win against a crappy Tpups team where our starters play heavy mins doesn’t mean “we’re back.”

In fact, seeing the beautiful offense that Rubio is orchestrating in Phoenix makes me wonder how much better we’d be if we had kept this team “as is” and added Bogie. Favors would be at the right position, the backup 5. We’d have a taller guard who could throw the lob at a fraction of the price of Conley. We’d have our “stretch 4” in bogie. We’d still have badasses like crowder. And this team might still be watchable.

We couldn't do that. Moving away from Rubio and Favors created the space to get Bogey. They could've had the space if they got rid of Favors. The other problem is I'm pretty sure Bogey wouldn't have been so certain of coming here without the Conley trade.

No one can convince me that this isn't largely about Joe Ingles. Also, the Jazz need at least another NBA player in the rotation, so hopefully Conley becomes that and learns how to work here and the Jazz get something on the market sooner than later.

It's a figurative train. I'll be fine.
