I think the whole idea that Bojan is overpaid is fairly laughable. Personal stuff aside, most here would be / would’ve been ecstatic about having someone like Hayward on the roster, despite a salary north of $30M/yr. Bojan is going to give us almost all of that at $18M/yr.

At least for the next couple of years... hopefully.

Hayward has 2 years left and Bojan has 4, yet the total amount owed is about the same. Had we resigned Hayward he’d have another year and the cost per year would be higher.

And then Hayward would be asking for the max for a 10-yr vet. We dodged a huge bullet when he bailed on us!
