Not sure if it's been discussed but I heard Locke on the radio today saying he was at the Donovan Mitchell jazz pre draft workout and was blown away by him..... as was lindsey
Apparently DL told Locke that if he says anything to anyone about how much DL likes mitchell that he would be fired. He said he didn't know if DL was joking or not but he took him seriously and wouldn't say anything to anyone about the workout.
I believe the story is that he told everybody present that, not just Locke. Not sure if it's been discussed but I heard Locke on the radio today saying he was at the Donovan Mitchell jazz pre draft workout and was blown away by him..... as was lindsey

Good. I think everyone was surprised that the Jazz did that. I'm so glad that we have this kid. I see big things in his future. I enjoy every game. Every interview.
DM is a joy to watch in front of a camera, love the way he carries himself in every interview.
I'm not a fan of players that tend to scream, defy rivals, clap their hands and stare at them, and I'd like to see Mitchell keep it to a minimum, but what I love about him is that like he said in one of those videos, he's actually not like that at all off the court. Having talented guys is the foundation for every winning team, but having guys with high character and a good head on their shoulders is just as critical for a franchise, especially in the long run.
Definitely one of the best moves by Lindsey.
And do I ever love the fact that the Jazz have another guy who thinks that way. Rudy has that killer instinct. I see it in Mitchell as well.I think one of the reasons that DM got in Tatum's face is because Tatum was staring down people when he hit his first couple shots. Tatum started it. Mitchell just finished it.

That's a 12 and a 24 pick turned into a 13.
I was cool with it for a minute cuz I thought that maybe we made the pick for someone else. Maybe this was part of a package. Now that it seems that it is not I'm super bummed.
I doubt we keep Hayward on the promise of a late lottery pick. Cuz they have turned out so great in the past.
It's Trey Lyles and Tyler Lydon for Donovan Mitchell.
I'd do that trade all day today, and tomorrow, and the next day.
Whether Hayward stays or not, it was the right move. Perimeter defenders with offensive skills are pretty difficult to find. I don't see how you could be bummed about it.
