What's new

The Jazz have waived Elijah Millsap

Quinn, I think, really like little Sap. For a while there he was playing him ahead of Ingles, but he continually turned it over on offense and I think caused us to lose a couple of games because of that. Johnson has clearly played better. No need to add anyone. They have Pleiss backing up Withey and he has actually done better than I expected. Trey is playing lots better than early on, so why would they add a player? They might as well just wait until Burks comes back.

don't want to skip steps, guis, by adding talent.

He was the weakest link. Not a bad end of the bench player, but we needed something more. My only problem with it is who are we going to bring in now?
Im not really interested in brining in more D leagers. why not just keep Sap? I really want a vet shooter to play a Fisher type role for us minus the drama.

Ian clarke was awesome last night. Played 22 minutes and was 1-10 from the field, and 0-4 from three totally 3 points for the night.

Millsap regressed from last season. Not that he was awesome last year but he was more aggressive offensively and he was hitting the three at 31%.

If Ian Clark played against the Jazz 82 times a year, he would break the all-time record for 3pt FG%. If he played for the Jazz, he'd go back to being a true scrub.

In a semi interesting note the DLeague showcase is going on in Santa Cruz and the Jazz farm team just signed Pierre Jackson.

Probably just want to use the spot to try out guys on 10-days now that teams are starting to be eligible for those. Maybe a PG like Pierre Jackson?
